We are excited to present to you Art Against Racism LA, an exhibition that explores LA’s artistic response to racism. With your help we aim to make this exhibit a testament to the power of unity and community. Art Against Racism L.A. is a powerful and thought-provoking exhibition that stands as a visual testament to: the collective commitment of LA's artists in the fight against racial discrimination.

Through diverse mediums and perspectives, this showcase articulates a profound message of unity, understanding, and equality.

Each artist will be selected based on their artworks ability to challenge preconceptions and ignites conversations, urging viewers to confront and dismantle the pervasive roots of racism in our society. 

This will be an immersive experience, where we use visual and performing arts as a vehicle to challenge racism and foster a more inclusive and harmonious Los Angeles for all.

Who Are We?

We are the intersection where art meets activism.

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit with the mission is to combat racism through the arts. We are the intersection where art meets activism, combining forces to keep the desperate need for equality and justice at the forefront of America’s conscience.

Through art and education, Black in Mayberry builds awareness, challenge constructs that uphold racism and advocate for human rights and social justice in the United States.

Our Journey began with a documentary movie called ‘Black in Mayberry’ and now it continues through art activations with artivists in Los Angeles.
